针对不同的实际情况运用“…should…”给出相应的建议。

Step 1:Warm-up
1.找几组代表表演“Let’s talk”的对话。
2.老师出示不同的人物表情图,学生二人一组创设情景,运用“Let’s talk”所学重点句型设计对话。
Step 2: Presentation
1.教师出示“Let’s learn”中的第一幅挂图,T:How does Sarah feel? Ss: She is ill. T: She should see a doctor.
板书“see a doctor”并教读。
2.出示“Let’s learn”中的第二幅挂图,T:How does Wu Binbin feel?
Ss: He is worried. T: He should do more exercise.
板书“do more exercise”配上肢体语言解释教读。
3.出示一张雪景图。T:How do you feel? Ss: I’m cold.教师边做穿衣动作,边说:You should wear warm clothes.板书“wear warm clothes”并教读。
4.老师做生气状,并问学生:How do I feel? Ss: You are angry. T : I should take a deep breath and count to ten.板书短语并教读“take a deep breath,count to ten”。
5.播放“Let’s learn”部分的录音,学生跟读,学习正确的语音语调。
Step 3:Consolidation and extension
1.利用课件出示不同的表情图,如:ill, worried, angry, cold, afraid, sad。要求学生二人根据所给表情图运用句型:“I’m…,You should…”来进行对话,如:
S1: I’m ill. S2:You should see a doctor.
2.完成“Play card games”部分的练习。
教师将表达各感情的单词卡片放在桌上,找一名学生上台配合教师的示范表演,如:
教师抽到了一张cold卡片,T:What should I do? S:You should wear warm clothes.
学生二人一组,模仿师生对话,操练句型和提建议。
3.课堂小练习:你能给出建议吗?
(1)I’m cold. You should wear warm clothes.
(2)I’m ill. You should see a doctor.
(3)I’m worried. You should do more exercise.
(4)I’m angry. You should take a deep breath and count to ten.
Step 4: Homework
请根据父母朋友的心情给出相应的英文建议。

本课时主要学习几个短语,要求学生能在日常生活中根据别人的实际情况给出相应的建议。学习短语时,教师通过图片呈现脸部表情、动作肢体语言来表现动词短语,有利于学生的理解和吸收。在学习结束之后,更是通过表情图来练习提建议,让学生能在轻松的学习氛围中巩固和记忆知识。
