外教克里斯，美国人，2004年来到阿斯顿英语从事教学工作，从此就和中国的孩子开始了不解之缘。在美国取得教师资格证的。他，积累了多年的幼儿教育经验，对中国的幼儿英语教育有着自己的想法，和笔者娓娓道来。

培养孩子英语思维

克里斯说，幼儿阶段英语思维的养成，就打好了学英语的底子，对今后英语学习起着至关重要的作用。在阿斯顿，外教授课的好处是，让学员在这样的环境下先以英语思考为先，再用英语圆满地表达自己。语言不单是一种工具，而且是一种思维的表达方式，如果用中文思考然后用再英文表达，那就是所说的中国式英语了。身为外教，能够帮助孩子养成英语的思维习惯，潜移默化地学会用英语思考问题的能力。

提供纯正英语环境

和外教学英语是很有必要的，克里斯介绍到，在阿斯顿，幼儿和外教学习跟在国外的环境相似，可以先不用学单词就直接进行口语对话了。阿斯顿都是小班型，孩子有大量充分的时间与外教交流。小孩子一生下来首先学会的是听，接着才是说、读、写，采用外教最大的优势在于他们有纯正的语音，对于幼儿来说，他们学习更多的是去模仿老师，自然而然，在外教老师营造的环境中，能很快进行口语对话。

培养儿童学习英语的兴趣

在克里斯的心里，学习语言其实是非常自然又愉快的事情，它是开启通往另一个世界大门的钥匙，让人的眼界宽广，体验另一个国度的文化。可是现在中国孩子学习英语大多却是为了应付各种各样的考试，多强调背语法、背单词，而听说就

落下了。这样直接导致了孩子学英语的兴趣的降低，学英语变成一种机动性、被动的学习。很多时候都是死记硬背，临阵磨枪，考完试如果不学了，马上又会忘记，造成学了白学的尴尬境地。如果能让孩子在学龄前奠定基础，到了上学的时候会轻松许多，有了自信，对英语的兴趣也就更浓厚了。

全方位英语早教

幼儿英语的早教，还需要家长的配合。中国的家长对孩子学习英语很重视和孩子一起预习、上课、复习，这些都让克里斯很佩服。阿斯顿的中教老师及时根据学员的学习情况，更有针对性地帮助孩子解决遇到的困惑。同时保持与家长的反馈，让家长能准确掌握孩子的学习状态。克里斯坦言，这种中外教的默契配合，是阿斯顿高水平教学质量的原因之一。

同时，克里斯也建议，学习英语是综合能力的体现，每个孩子的表达能力和理解能力都是不同的，但是每个孩子都有学习语言的天赋，家长要正确引导和鼓舞。
