There are many traditional festivals in China, which is vast in territory and rich in resources with a long history, and I like the Dragon Boat Festival best.
On the day of the Dragon Boat Festival, people in some places hang Acorus calamus and wormwood, which are said to drive away mosquitoes and other pests. The indispensable part of the Dragon Boat Festival is to pack zongzi, including glutinous rice zongzi, red bean zongzi, ham zongzi and so on. I remember that one year at the Dragon Boat Festival, my family made zongzi by ourselves, and I also participated in it. Unfortunately, the technical level is really not high, so I have to be a bystander. Looking at her mother's skilled movements, I really admire and envy her. Zongzi can be boiled after being wrapped. With the boiling water, the steam that comes out floats in the room, making the room full of the unique fragrance of bamboo leaves and glutinous rice. My mouth watering. As soon as the zongzi came out of the pot, I couldn't wait to get it. My mother laughed at me. I was a greedy cat, but she still peeled the zongzi for me and dipped it in sugar. He also told me that the origin of eating zongzi on the Dragon Boat Festival was that in ancient times, people threw zongzi into the river to prevent fish from eating Qu Yuan's body thrown into the river because of patriotism. Listening to my mother's story, I unconsciously ate another zongzi and felt so sweet.
Over the past few years, people's living standards have improved and the pace of life has accelerated, but the custom of eating zongzi on the Dragon Boat Festival has not changed, but now zongzi are directly bought from the market, which is convenient and has a wide variety of choices. But eating zongzi always misses the fragrance of that full house in the new year
The fifth day of the fifth lunar month is the most distinctive day in my hometown - the Dragon Boat Festival. Although the Dragon Boat Festival is a very popular and grand festival among the Chinese people, both in southern and northern China, there is a custom of the Dragon Boat Festival. But I feel that the Dragon Boat Festival in the south is more interesting than in the north, with a stronger atmosphere and better expression of its characteristics.
During the Dragon Boat Festival, we need to plant mugwort branches and hang mugwort tigers. On the early morning of the Dragon Boat Festival, people insert mugwort branches into doors or weave mugwort into "mugwort tigers", which are placed in the center of the lintel or worn around the body to ward off insects and ward off evil spirits, in order to maintain health.
The Dragon Boat Festival requires drawing door symbols. On the Dragon Boat Festival, people use Paper Cuttings images of scorpions, centipedes, poisonous snakes, xx, and geckos as gate symbols. It is said that this is done to drive away the "five poisons" and prevent epidemics.
During the Dragon Boat Festival, one should bring sachets and tie colorful silk threads. Xiangbao is embroidered with cotton products and silk thread. In addition to containing some realgar and Atractylodes, it also contains spices made of vanilla, which can be worn on the body to repel insects and eliminate toxins. The five silk threads symbolize the five colored dragon, and tying the five colored thread can subdue the demons and ghosts to eat Zongzi on the Dragon Boat Festival. In the morning, every family eats Zongzi to commemorate Qu Yuan. Generally, Zongzi is wrapped the day before, cooked at night and eaten in the morning. Zongzi is mainly made of tender reed leaves, which are rich in the riverside, and also bamboo leaves, which are collectively called Zongye. The traditional form of Zongzi is a triangle, which is generally named according to the inner pulp. The one wrapped with glutinous rice is called rice zongzi, the one mixed with beans is called bean zongzi, and the one mixed with red dates is called jujube zongzi; Zao Zong has a homophonic pronunciation of "Zao Zhong", so it is the most commonly eaten, with the intention that children who are studying can become the top scorer in the morning. In the past, on the day when scholars took the imperial examination, they would eat jujube zongzi in the morning. Today, on the morning of high school and university entrance examination days, parents also make jujube zongzi for students to eat raw.
Dragon boat racing is the main custom of the Dragon Boat Festival. According to legend, it originated in ancient times when people of the state of Chu were reluctant to part with their wise minister Qu Yuan and died by throwing himself into the river. Many people rowed boats to chase and save him. They were eager to catch up and disappeared when they reached Dongting Lake. Afterwards, every May 5th, dragon boats are rowed to commemorate it. By rowing a dragon boat, disperse the fish in the river to prevent them from eating Qu Yuan's body.
The Dragon Boat Festival is really an interesting traditional festival!

Today is China's traditional festival - Dragon Boat Festival.
I woke up a bit later than usual due to the holiday. When I opened my eyes, I found that my hands, feet, and feet were all adorned with colorful threads. The five colored line is composed of five colors: red, pink, yellow, green, and blue, which are very bright. My mother told me that wearing colorful lines during the Dragon Boat Festival will bring good luck to myself.
After washing my face, I came to the dining table. A full table, it's so rich; There are big triangular Zongzi, fragrant eggs, duck eggs, goose eggs. Watching so much delicious food, my saliva couldn't help flowing out.
Just about to start, my father said, "Do you know why you want to eat Zongzi today? Which" classmate "knows, please raise your hand to answer?"
This has stumped me, so I pretended not to hear and waited for my dad to explain. My dad told me it was to commemorate a great poet in ancient China, Qu Yuan. I never expected that even a certain kind of food would have a story.
After Dad finished speaking, I couldn't wait to play games with them.
I casually picked up a larger egg from the plate and had a duel with my dad first. But my strength was too weak, and after one round, I lost to my dad. But in my heart, I won't accept defeat. I thought to myself, "I can't just calculate like that." I went to wash goose eggs again, wanting to compete with my mother.
I saw my mother picking from left to right on the plate, as if there were hidden generals inside. I curiously asked my mother, "What are you choosing? Is there anything different about goose eggs?" After listening, my mother patiently said, "You see, these goose eggs seem to be the same, but in fact, there is a lot of knowledge inside! First of all, you need to look at the shape of the eggs and choose ones with a smaller and sharper" head ", which will have more advantages."; Next, you need to look at the shell of the goose egg, which is smooth, delicate, and evenly colored. This type of eggshell is harder. Based on these characteristics, you will definitely win
I chose a goose egg with half confidence and began to compete with my mother.
I tightly held the goose egg with both hands, exerting all my strength. I pushed it, pushed it, and only heard a loud bang. I quickly stopped and nervously looked at the egg in my hand. Surprisingly, the egg in my hand was not broken, but still in good condition. "It turned out that my mother's egg was broken. It's great, I won! I won!" I shouted excitedly and jumped, and my father clapped his hands happily to congratulate me. My mother smiled as she looked at me happily.
What an unforgettable Dragon Boat Festival!

It's time for the Dragon Boat Festival, which is filled with the fragrance of brown seeds, and it reminds me of the customs of our hometown's Dragon Boat Festival.
When I was five years old, I celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival in my hometown of Hunan. That morning, my dad led me to watch a dragon boat race. Before we reached the riverbank, we could hear the sound of gongs and drums from a distance, which was very lively. As I approached, there were many colorful flags planted by the river, and there were crowds of people on the shore. Five dragon boats were lined up in the river, and rowers were preparing with their hands clenched. The official competition has begun, with only one sound of gunfire. Five dragon boats are sailing forward like five arrows departing from the strings, chasing after each other and competing to be the first. Cheers, drums and gongs, cheers... unusually lively.
At this moment, there was a continuous drizzle in the sky, but people didn't care at all and were completely immersed in this joyful ocean. Amidst the cheers of the people, a boat rowed to the finish line, and laughter and cheers grew louder.
I saw the busy people on the bank throwing Zongzi and eggs into the river. I was very surprised to ask "Dad, what are they doing and why should they throw good Zongzi into the water?" Dad said, "The dragon boat race originated from the ancient Chu people because they couldn't bear to let Qu Yuan, a wise minister, die in the river. Many people rowed to catch up with him and save him. They rushed to catch up with him when they reached Dongting Lake. Later, they rowed dragon boats to commemorate him every May 5. They used dragon boats to drive away the fish in the river, and at the same time, they threw Zongzi and other food to feed the fish, so that the fish wouldn't eat Qu Yuan's body."
I love the Dragon Boat Festival in my hometown. The patriotic poet Qu Yuan in our hometown is worthy of our eternal remembrance.

"The festival is divided into the Dragon Boat Festival. It is said that Qu Yuan is a legend through the ages. It is worthy of laughing at the emptiness of the Chu River and cannot wash the injustice of straight officials." This poem is the Dragon Boat Festival written by Wen Xiu, a poet of the Tang Dynasty.
The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional festival of our Han nationality. The activity of welcoming the Dragon Boat Festival in our school will be held this afternoon. In the afternoon, as soon as I came to the campus, the smell of Zongye was very fragrant. I can't wait to go to our class four. Wow - our desks are already full of Zongye, rope, pork, mushroom.。. The materials for making zongzi are very rich!
The students found their own group and sat down. We began to learn how to make zongzi. Making zongzi is a seemingly simple but difficult thing to do. I watched aunts wrap zongzi easily. The students looked at it and wrapped it. I also picked up the Zongye to learn to wrap it. First, when I rolled the zongzi, I was in a hurry. Finally, I rolled out the sharp corner, and the rice stumped me again. It's easy for the teacher to teach me zongzi. It's easy for me to teach me zongzi! Hahaha. I was very happy.
The students are happy to learn to make zongzi under the sound of beautiful music, happy discussion, happy laughter and clicking photos. Before long, with our joint efforts and hard work, the results came out, and a large pot of zongzi was piled up. Some of the wrapped dumplings are like spring rolls, some are like a pyramid, and some are like a triangle.。. Although the dumplings are not very good-looking, they are full of blessings from the students.
Happy time always passes very fast. A class has passed and the Dragon Boat Festival has come to a successful end. Look forward to the Dragon Boat Festival next year!

The Dragon Boat Festival comes from the story of Qu Yuan: the patriotic poet Qu Yuan came up with a good idea to enrich the country and strengthen the people, but it was not adopted by the king. Instead, he was expelled from the palace. Qu Yuan was so angry that he jumped into the Miluo River. After learning this, the local fisherman rowed a small boat and scattered the rice in the bamboo tube to Qu Yuan in the Miluo River. Later, people changed rice in bamboo tubes into zongzi, and changed rowing boats into dragon boats to commemorate Qu Yuan. Our whole family admired Qu Yuan very much. Therefore, our family celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival every year.
The traditional custom of the Dragon Boat Festival is to eat zongzi. Our family has a real expert in making zongzi - my mother. Every year during the Dragon Boat Festival, our family can eat delicious zongzi. My mother often said: zongzi wrapped with reed leaves is the most fragrant. Therefore, every year on the Dragon Boat Festival, my mother makes zongzi with reed leaves. Before making zongzi, she first made preparations: put the leaves of reed in water and cook, and wash the prepared glutinous rice and jujube respectively. When the leaves of the reed cooled, she began to make zongzi. She first took three leaves and rolled them into a cone. Then she put a jujube, then put glutinous rice in it, and then put a few jujubes in the middle. Finally, she tied the leaves with thread and wrapped a zongzi. Her dumplings are fat and big, like old Buddha sleeping. After the dumplings are wrapped, my mother puts them in a pressure cooker and steams them for 40 minutes, then puts them for three or four hours to make them delicious, and then you can eat them! The rice dumplings made by my mother are so fragrant that I will eat them as soon as I see them. Therefore, whenever I eat zongzi, I always eat a lot!
After the Dragon Boat Festival, we should not only eat zongzi, but also race dragon boats!
I like watching dragon boat races best. Dozens of sailors are rowing with oars and beating drums with high morale. "Come on, come on!" The cheerleaders outside the stadium were full of passion and issued thunderous shouts and cheers. The sailors had to row harder. The whole scene of the dragon boat race was very spectacular and warm.
Eating zongzi and dragon boat racing, these two traditional customs jointly weave a noisy Dragon Boat Festival.
