On the other, as being a civil servant generally means a stable income, enviable healthcare and pension programmes, as well as other comforts of life, it’s quite an appealing career option to many people, especially in this age of sluggish world economy. Personally, the desire to be a government official is beyond reproach, as the nation and the people do need an injection of new blood into the civil service sectors. The fresh-faced college graduates, armed with lofty ideals, new vision, and strong drive, are undoubtedly among the best candidates.

走进赛场，就开始了等待。这时，我是可以在作准备的，可紧张和担心已让我受够了。过了一会儿，就有老师领着我们进场。

只见比赛的教室里一片肃静，我们这些参赛选手各就各位后比赛就开始了。大家一个一个地表演，有的显示出了自己的风采，也有部分同学因紧张而发挥不出真正的`成绩。“下面是Aa147号同学。”裁判员点到。我小小步地来到教室中央。“Good afternoon,evebody."刚说完，我就紧张得忘记了下一句，好一会儿才想起来。看着裁判员那一脸的微笑，我那悬着的心渐渐平静了下来。用较流利的英语讲起了故事。刚讲到一半，突然忘记了下一句，好久才想起来。这时，讲到了我平时最不熟的一句就停下了，心里“咚咚咚”地跳个不停，我确实记不起下一句是什么。我紧张地看着裁判们，他们都面带着微笑，但是任我怎样使劲地想，脑子里就是一片空白。这时，只见裁判脸一沉，说了声“唱歌吧。”我的心也随之沉了下来，这无疑是给我判了死刑。但我一向是要强的人，还是高声唱起了英文歌。接下来，大家又一个个上台表演了。

虽然这次比赛我失败了，但我并不灰心，重在参与嘛，成败并不重要。从这次失败中，我明白了凡事都要认真对待才能成功。我相信从这次失败中吸取到教训，下一次我一定能行！

From the chart above, we can definitely get a conclusion that the more you learned, the higher your salary would be. The figures in the chart denied the claim that knowledge is useless. However quite a few people still hold the opinion that a higher education does no good to a better job since that there are many university students who can not get an ideal job.

What I want to point out is that there is more than one factor that contributes to the failure of finding an ideal job for those who got a higher education. While those who failed to get a better education will hardly succeed in getting a good job because they didn’t get the knowledge systematically and scientifically.
