The lack of public morals reflects a person’s bad personality, they will be condemned by others. As the saying goes that live and learn, which means learning is a lifetime job. Learning helps us to broaden our vision and enrich our minds, so as to get success. Being a successful learner is everybody's goal. How can we make it and here are some suggestions.

俗话说活到老，学到老，这说明学习是终生的任务。学习有助于我们拓宽视野、丰富我们的思想从而获得成功。成为一个成功的学习者是每个人的目标。我们如何才能做到呢，在这里有一些建议。

On the one hand, it is in need of learning from the successful persons' experience, such as Bill Gates, the richest men in the world. His story begins as an ordinary college student, just like everybody else. The secret that make him to be successful lies in his persistence and hard working. We can always be inspired by these great people' stories.

一方面，从成功人士身上学习经验是有必要的，比如世界上最富有的人比尔盖茨。他的故事的开始是一个普通的大学生，就像其他人一样。让他成功的秘密在于他的坚持和努力。我们总是会从这些伟大的人的事迹上得到鼓舞。

On the other hand, we need to figure out the useful information. The inspiring lectures will let us learn a lot. A lot of people will make their decision and try to follow the successful people' acts, but the result always frustrates them, because they haven't realized they are not in the totally same situation. Only adjusting the method can we find the right way.

另一方面，我们需要找到有用的信息。鼓舞人心的讲座可以让我们学到很多东西，很多人会下定决心试着跟随成功人士的做法，但结果总是不如人意，因为他们没有意识到他们所处的情况并不是完全相同的。只有调整方法我们才能找到正确的道路。

Samuel johnson once said,”General principles must come from books ,which,however ,must be brought to the test of real life”。

First,what i want to emphasis is that I can’t agree with his remarks any more .Embalmed in variety of books,general principles are easily accessible to us,including knowledge about science 、society 、botany、zoology 、philosophy and so on.

However,as the saying goes,”Practice is the sole criterion for testing truth .” Other than getting general principles from books ,what’s of more significance is to put them into practice. Only after testing them in daily lives can we identify which one works or not,no matter how brilliant it , though dealing with problems using those principles ,we have the ability to know which one can benefit us more . What’s more ,once you get to familiar with knowledge by putting them into use,you’ll have a better understand of knowledge .There is no doubt that you will sublimate the knowledge you’ve got from books .

In short ,attention should not be paid to acquire knowledge from books ’s the application of knowledge we got from books that counts.

当然，开头运用景物描写，要注意三个方面：一是写景的文字不能过多，不能一写到景物，就没完没了，无始无终，结果，景物写了很多，显得头大身子小，文章不匀称；二是要重点突出，主要景物多写一些，次要景物点一下即可，不能样样都写，结果都没有写好；三是写景是为人和事服务的，要与文中所写的人和事有密切关联，景与人事不能脱节，更不能把景物写成了文章的累赘。

这段文字，是习作《路过天堂》的开头，用的全是景物描写，主要是仰视之景，夕阳下的美景，蓝天、轻云、夕照的光彩、碧绿的菜叶，渲染了美好的情境，为写“我”下文“路过天堂寨”提供了优美的环境背景。读后有身临其境之感，令人心驰神往，显然是一个好的开头。

MyOldHouse

Today, I went to my old house. I lived in it two years ago. When I am at school, I often think of my old house because it made me happy in the past.

My old house is very tidy but old. It has only one level and there are just two rooms in it. I slept with my mother and my father ever evening. My old house is between two high houses, so it looks very small but lovely. When I lived in my old house, I often played with my sister at the weekends. But now I can’t, so I feel a little sad. Two years ago, I could share my feelings with my parents too, but they were separate at last. So my old house is my favourite place. If I have some trouble, I think of it and my parents, I’ll always get lots of energy. I will then forget the trouble soon. Do you think my old house is a wonderful place? Yes, it’s my great “palace.”
