mel gibson has reason to be proud of 'braveheart.' it is a motion picture that dares to be excessive... gibson presents passionately the most spaciously impressive battles (yet staged for films) even excessively, and it is his passion and excess that make the motion picture great... the horror and futility of massed hand-to-hand combats are exciting rather repulsive... it is epic film-making at its glorious best...

学生们兴奋而安静地看完了视频，有想要交流的意思，正好是第二节的大课间，我就让组长和班长，课代表一个一个都做了发言。他们讲得都很好！有人说，自己要咬牙坚持，克服一切困难；有人说，要有个明确的目标，朝着目标努力前进；也有人说，要有一个好的教师，由好老师带领教育我们好好进步；有人说，要有一个好的教练，时刻给自己鼓励！……

总结起来，我谈了以下两点：一、自己本人要有目标，要坚持努力，要永不放弃，才能做到最好！二、还要有一个好的教练，好的朋友。所以请同学们多结交一些能给你带来正能量的好朋友，他们能陪伴你一生，你们能互相鼓励，互相帮助，共同进步！这两点都很重要，其中最重要的是第一点，自己才是最重要的！当然，在关键的时候有一个能推你一把，拉你一把的人，一定是你要感谢的人！

At noon today, the teachers and students of the whole school gathered to watch the war movie Assembly in the amphitheatre. Many students havent seen it, and it feels refreshing. I watched it intently for fear of missing a plot. This movie is really wonderful.

The story takes place during the War of Liberation, when China and the Kuomintang reactionaries fought to the death. Company commander Gu Zidi led his ninth company. At first, there were more than 100 people. After a battle with the enemy, more than half of them died, and only 47 people were alive. There were few people and many dangers. Company commander Gu Zidi led 47 people into a more cruel battle. They bombed the enemys battle tanks with cannons and grenades, and the guns shook the earth. Smoke billowed everywhere, and the ground was full of victims. The scene was very tragic. The land and river were red with blood. That is the blood of martyrs!

The soldiers sacrificed one after another. The whole company took the assembly number as the command, and never retreated without hearing the bugle. However, the bugle never rang. The 47 soldiers in the company were very disciplined, and all the orders were obeyed, just like the geese in the sky. No matter how to change the formation in flight, they would be arranged in order. 上个星期六，我和爸爸一起去看电影：少年派的奇幻漂流。为了能买到票，我们早早地先去买半价票，然后我们再到肯德基去吃早餐。吃完早餐，电影始的时间刚刚好到了，我们快速上楼进了放映厅，坐下来，开始看电影。

这部电影讲的是一个少年人的冒险故事，它是以一种回忆的方式来进行拍摄的。有一个叫派的印度少年人，从小生活在一个温暖的家庭里，他爸爸开了一个动物园。但是随着派的慢慢长大，环境也在改变，他家的动物园无法经营下去了。派的爸爸决定全家移到加拿大去，同时把动物也运到那边去卖掉。登船日期到了，派和他的家人上了船出发了。路途中，他们遇到了暴风雨，派在这次灾难中失去了家人，他自己却被船员送到了救生艇上，但是几只动物也到了救生艇上，特别是孟加拉虎，派非常害怕。老虎吃掉了船上的所有动物，派必须冷静地面对危险，勇敢机智地与老虎一起生存下来。最后派得救了，老虎也回到了树林。

电影放完了，我慢慢走出了电影院。通过这部电影，我懂得了遇到危险要冷静，不要慌张，再想办法脱离危险。或者一开始就用聪明机智的办法尽量避免危险。
