The Lantern Festival or Yuanxiao Jie is a traditional Chinese festival which is on the 15th of the first month of the Chinese New Year.

The festival marks the end of the celebrations of the Chinese New Year.

This is a festival for people having fun.

On the night of the festival people go on streets with a variety of lanterns under the full moon watching lions or dragon dancing playing Chinese riddles and games and lighting up firecrackers.

There is really a lot of fun for the young and the old.

Yuanxiao or Tangyuan is the special food for the Lantern Festival. It is believed that Yuanxiao is named after a palace maid Yuanxiao of Emperor Wu Di of the Han Dynasty.

Yuanxiao is a kind of sweet dumpling which is made with sticky rice flour filled with sweet is my favorite.

I like a lot of foods, like rice, noodles, dumplings, porridge, hamburgers and so on. But my favourite food is dumplings. Every Sunday,my mother makes many dumplings for me. If she has no time to make the dumplings, I'll go to the supermarket to buy some. Dumplings look like white boats. They taste my birthday every year, I usually make a lot of dumplings with my mother because I often ask some friends to eat them with me. There are different kinds of vegetables in them. My friends all like to eat them very much.

Of all the foods,I like dumplings best. What about you, mydear friends? Do you like dumplings,too?

The food I love most is the vegetables. Without taking certain vegetables every day, you may cause health problems. Maybe it is not very delicious, but it's very important to us.

There are many many foods we can eat such as apple banana pear carrot onion orange potato and many others.

My father likes to eat very thing expect it is not be able to eat. My mother likes to eat vegetables and fruits she usually eat some meat. I like to eat meat and fruits too but I do not like to eat vegetables and apple is favorite food.

It is very tasty and has many things which our body need; they also can clean our teeth. Some of them are red some of them are green.

I like to eat the red ones because they look nicer than the green ones. Apples are very useful someone say apple can make people more beautiful and strong.

I do not think apples can make us more beautiful and strong but I believe someone who always eats apples will be more health than someone who does not like to eat apples will not be very strong!
