Everyone has a choice when he wakes up in the early can choose to be happy or sad all the day. But for me , I think I have responsibilities to fulfill all the day. So every morning my first job is to choose what kind of day I am going to have. Today I can complain because it is rainy or I can be grateful that the grass is watered for free. Today I can feel sad because I don't have more money or I can be glad that it will prevent me from wasting.

Today I can feel very down because of a bad cold or I can rejoice that I am still alive.

Today I can lament over all that my parents didn't give me when I was growing up or I can feel grateful that they allowed me to be born.

Today I can be disappionted for my lack of friends or I can be excited to discover new relationships.

Today I can be exhausted because I have too much homework to do or I can feel honored because I'm getting closer to my dream in this way. What today will be like is just up to can get to choose what kind of day we will have! As teenagers,we stilll have much time to achieve our dreams, but the way to success is not so we choose to face it in a good mood and carry on trying,I believe we can enjoy the whole process and get to the destination of success much more easily and happily.

In fact,everything depends on your own you choose to be happy and positive,you will enjoy your work and have a good you choose to be sad and negative,nothing good will come to you and your life will be colourless.

The world around us is so is no reason why we don't enjoy ,everybody,let's choose to be happy everyday!

The first time I saw a square watermelon, my hair stood on end. Years ago a Japanese came up with the idea of square watermelons because he thought it would save more space. Intelligent and effective as it is, have you ever thought about how tragic it is for the watermelon?

I can't imagine that poor fruit's childhood, being imprisoned and limited in a dark cubic cell, not even able to stretch its arms and legs. Because only in this way, can it truly become a square watermelon.

Unfortunately, isn't this the way we grew up? Under the pressure of being forced to strive for one goal after another, we almost became identical. However, at the same time, there is still a bunch of people, careless of the dark cell, following their passion, their dreams.

Maybe there is not a "right" or "wrong" between being forced by pressure or following your dream. I mean, pressure can make things going in an effective, though boring, way. By contrast, passion and dreams enrich your life, though sometimes it's risky to stick to them. Nevertheless, Ladies and gentlemen, following your dream with passion is what everyone should choose to do.

Let me explain it this way.

My grandmother was very shocked when she found out that I know what my cousin sister is doing simply by clicking on her blog. Hesitating for a little while, though, She asked for my help and decided to start her "social network life" at the advanced age of 85.

Think about this, A woman didn't give up her passion, and tried not to fall behind, even almost in the evening of her life. What supported her is her passion and her dream. The sad truth is that not everyone is able to enjoy this part of life. When they become old, or, as some would say, when they become mature, their mind is imprisoned into a box, partly by society, partly by themselves. They have tons of things they must do also tons of things they must not do. In essence, thousands of millions of people are becoming like square melons with an imprisoned mind.

This reminds me of a book I once read called "Brave New World". In the story, the world in 2532 is highly efficient, stable and prosperous. People are classified before they are born, when they are from the same family they will have the same face, the same abilities and same future. That’s a world in which there’s no passion or dream. Only pressure and and striving.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the world we could end up in, if we allow ourselves to be blocked in, like the square melons.

一、活动主题

主题不限可用原稿也可自写，比如描绘自己的家乡，对未来生活的向往，大学生活的感受等等积极向上即可

二、活动目的

提高大学生们的口语的水平，提供一个可以展现自我、激励他人的舞台，并且加强在校大学生的竞争意识。

六、前期准备：

1)请宣传部制作宣传板和海报进行宣传活动

2）由学习部向各班班委发放活动报名表

3)召集所有参赛选手开会，说明活动规则，评分标准以及题目等细则。

4)制定一份评委座次表便于比赛时引领入场

七、活动流程：

决赛分为三个部分--演讲、回答评委提问和才艺展示。演讲是限时为三分钟的定题演讲，选手需围绕主题事先写好演讲稿进行脱稿演讲。最后选手进行才艺展示，才艺形式不限，但是时间必须在五分钟之内。

1)工作人员入场进行比赛前的准备活动（包括比赛场地的布置，背景的布置等）

2)观众和嘉宾入场，评委入席，选手就位；

3)主持人介绍到场嘉宾、选手，介绍此次活动的主要目的和宣读比赛规则等事宜后正式宣布比赛开始；

4)正式进行比赛；

5)评奖，主持人宣布获奖名单由嘉宾进行颁奖，比赛结束，嘉宾做最后的总结陈词；

6)参赛选手及获奖选手与嘉宾分别合影；

7)工作人员留场进行清洁

? 评分标准：参赛选手的分数由三部分组成：演讲部分(该部分占总分的60%)回答评委问题（该部分占总分的20%）才艺展示部分(该部分占总分的20%).

1) 内容：选材内容积极向上，思想文明健康，富有激励性和创造性。 (20分)

2) 发音：表达清楚，发音清晰，无明显的错误，声情并茂并有适当的肢体语言。(20分)

3) 现场：时间限制，现场气氛以及与观众的互动程度。(10分)

4) 仪态仪表：神态自然，仪表大方，着装规范。(10分)

英语演讲比赛【第五篇】

为了庆祝苏州市职业大学成立30 周年，同时为了给同学们一个更好的展现自己风采的舞台，激发广大同学学习英语的热情，提高同学对英语口语的兴趣，营造一个良好的英语学习氛围，为更多的同学提供一个尽情挥洒创意，展现英语风采的舞台，管理工程系英语爱好者协会在得到老师和同学的支持下，于4月20日举行了“母校风采”英语演讲比赛，此次比赛主要针对在校大一大二的学生。大一学生参加的积极性很高，报名人数多，在我系大一学生新生中有一定的影响力，比赛设有多种奖项，给选手们提供了更多的表现机会，体现“公正，公开”的比赛原则。比赛荣幸地邀请了外籍老师John和Christing，团委学生会副主席沈金龙作为本次演讲比赛的评委，并且邀请外语系朱佳和管理系王慧芳作为本次比赛的主持人。英语爱好者协会会长和前任会长也列席观看。

对此次决赛之前，我部各班干事到各班进行宣传组织各班学生到赛场进行观看，以扩大演讲比赛的影响力。在接到系部的指示后，倾力策划并组织了这次活动的赛事。在学生会学习部的统筹下，把比赛中的各个环节与组织部、文艺部、宣传部合作，如此细致的分工合作，为本次比赛顺利进行奠定了基础。

这次比赛由演讲和才艺表演2个部分组成。在第一部分，大家表现得非常精彩，有的选手拥有出色的语音、语调；有的选手拥有激情和说服力；有的选手展示了自信的力量。大家都很好地传达了本次比赛的主题。同时也调动了同学们对学习英语的兴趣，提高同学们的英语口语能力和实用能力。

在正式比赛之前为体现“公平”原则，组织各参赛选手进行抽签，已决定各选手上场顺序。决赛结束后，比赛中参赛选手准备很充分，演讲也很投入，并且充分表现出了自我的特色，让观众深深地领略了他们潇洒的口语风采，值得一提的是有一位参赛选手主动提出问题与外教交流。评委对选手的表现进行了点评，指出了个选手在比赛过程中的不足和缺点，提出对同学们的期望，以及对同学们的鼓励，。现场的5位评委依公正的态度为每位参赛选手打分。其中有6位同学表现突出，依流利，纯正口语征服了评委和观众，在众多参赛选手当中脱颖而出，

经过评委的评比打分，最终角逐出：一等奖1名，二等奖2名，三等奖3名，最佳人气奖1名，最佳才艺奖1名，以及优秀奖若干名。他们分别是

综上终结，本次英语演讲赛之所以能取的这么大的成功，主要得益于事先周密的安排，社团各部之间的齐心协力，同学们的积极参与以及学校团委的大力关心和支持，这是一次成功的比赛，是一次圆满的比赛！不仅让同学们从中学到了确实有用的东西，而且也为我校营造学习英语的良好氛围出了一份力，使我校呈现出更高的学习英语的浪潮。它对我们英语爱好者协会以后怎么样开展活动，开展什么样的活动有着重大的指导意义，为我们今后的工作打下了坚实的基础！
