I woke up and looked at my watch。 Oh my god， it’s 7:30 already! I have to get up at once otherwise I’ll be late。 Today I’ll take the Australian athletes as a tour guide around Beijing， and I’m going to be the interpreter at the Beijing Olympic Games opening ceremony tomorrow。 This has always been a dream of mine since Beijing won the bid of the Olympics， and now the dream has finally come true—I have already become a successful interpreter。 And today is another important day of my interpreting career。 I’m a little nervous but， of course， very excited。 Here goes my plan for today:

Well， our first destination is， surely， the landmark of Beijing， the symbol of the 5000 years’ civilization—the Forbidden City—where the emperors and empresses of the Ming and Qing Dynasties lived， and it’s really grand。 It was renovated recently because of the coming Olympics。

The second place we are going to is the Great Wall。 This is the only building， I hear， that can been seen from the moon， and it represents the diligence and the wisdom of whole Chinese nation。

Now， it’s time for lunch。 We plan to have… What? You say ”Beijing Duck”? Yeah， right you are! We’ll come back to the center of Beijing， and we’ll have dinner at “Quanjude” restaurant。 You can enjoy the most delicious Chinese food—Beijing Duck， and you must be very pleased to hear this! Then I’ll show you around the Summer Palace。 It’s the royal garden for the emperors and empresses of the Qing Dynasty to pass the hot summers。

After visiting those historical places， you’ll surely be impressed by the long-lasting history of our great country。 At the same time， during the journey of moving from one place of interest to another， we won’t miss having a glance of Beijing’s modern civilization。 The skyscrapers， beautiful avenues and advanced facilities must also catch your eyes。 And we’ll also have a chance to experience Beijing’s fast development in person。 We’ll do some shopping at the shopping center near the Olympics Village。 You can buy everything there of course except guns and drugs which are seriously forbidden in China。 To see is to believe。 What you see and experience will be strong prove of your choice to Beijing， China!

That’s all about my plan for the day。 What do you think of it， my friends? Today， I’m very proud to be here to give a speech about a dream， a dream for which we worked together for nine years or even more。 As Beijing becomes the host city of the 29th Olympic Games， every Beijinger cares for the environment and good manners and behaviors much more than before。 Now Beijing has already made herselves’ dream come true。 So I must work harder to catch up with her steps。 Knowing the hardness of _ a dream into reality， I need to do my best at every side of my work， so then I believe my little dream—to be an interpreter—will definitely be realized someday in the future!

Today I am very happy to be here to share with you some of my thoughts on the topic of “A Word has that Change the World——Smile and the World Smiles With You “. First, please look at my face. Do you know what I’m doing? Yes, quite right, I’m smiling. I like smiling, because it makes me more confident and more popular. Don’t you think it important? Can you imagine a world without smiles? Can you bear seeing sad faces here and there? What a gloomy world it would without smiles!

Smile is so important of the world; it also can change the world! Smile and the world smiles with you!

Do you still remember the smiles from someone in your mind? What’s your feeling about that? The majority of people are trying to pursue happiness through their lifetime, but what is the root of happiness? I take the strong position that one of the secrets is smile. Smile makes the world go around.

It’s easier to make new friends through charming and friendly smiles. Smile always creates a good impression. Maybe we cannot remember someone’s name after meeting each other for the first time; however, his

or her smile impressed us. But people sometimes overlook the importance of smiling since it is so simple. It seems that people are always in such a hurry for their own business that they complain a lot about the lack of happiness in life and some people even want to be Harry Porter to learn the magic spell of happiness.

Ladies and gentlemen, every one of us want to know exactly well what the spell actually is and the spell is can change the world. What is it? so simple and just at hand. That’s smile.

Smile is such a magic spell. It is a kind of emotional contact. It makes strangers becomes friends. It makes parents and children understand each other better and it makes the love between lovers deeper.

Smile is such a magic spell. It’s also a kind of encouragement. It makes people feel warm in ice and snow. It gives thirsty people power to walk on in a dessert. It makes cowards become brave and it makes people see hope in desperate situations.

So please remember smile make your life brighter. Smile and the world smiles with you. Every time you smile you give yourself a perfect chance to enjoy life. Every time you smile, you bring the brilliant sunshine to the whole world around you as well as to yourself.

A smile is the common language of the world, is the perfect way to communicate. Smile to the world's stability and peace is hard to imagine that role. A smile can change the world , can change the way we live and

attitude.

So please smile, it will not only make your life happiness, will let others feel happy, still can let the whole world is filled with the taste of happiness!!!!!

granny liu, a distant kinsfolk, in a dream of the red mansions , claims kinship with the wealthy jia family, thinking that she may benefit from it in some ways. liu might have run away without any traces if the jia family had been a poor one. another saying goes “close neighbors are better than distant relatives.” the most difficult is to manage the relatives when doing business together, just as what the tv series program liu laogen discloses. it is all right to stay poor together, but as soon as the business grows prosperous, the group will become estranged and even dissolve because of the unfair distribution. family love is like a maze which we shouldn't go too far into it, otherwise, we'll surely get lost. love is a bilateral matter and unilateral love can only lead you to nowhere in spite of your good intentions. family love is, sometimes, like an arranged marriage, leaving no choices to you. due to the different experiences and tastes, staying together temporarily can be entertaining, while living together for a long time can only be boring due to the lack of common interest and understanding. how can we communicate with each other without understanding? parents have the duty to support the children who are not yet economically independent, and children have the responsibility to provide for the elderly parents who are lack of economic abilities to support themselves. except these two kinds of duties which we must fulfill, other kinds of love become conventional formalities such as paying visit to the sick or the dead and giving presents to the newly-born etc.

no love among relatives has become a normal phenomenon which needn't to be fussed about. what's worse is when love is contaminated by money. sooner or later we will get hurt. the sooner we get out of this net of love, the more we can preserve beautiful memories.

Last Sunday, I went sightseeing with my friends in the Fairy Lake Park. The water is clean and clear and we can even see fishes swimming freely in it. Beside the lake there was a sign which read “Don’t throw water into the lake!” However, a couple ignored it completely, throwing waste into the lake, while saying loudly “How beautiful the scenery is!”

Seeing this, I was sad and angry. How should they do things like that? Now, some people don’t mind their own behavior in public places. They speak loudly regardless of others’ feelings surrounding them and even pollute the environment at random.

To make our society more harmonious, I appeal to the whole society to mind our own behavior in public places and small good things in our daily life which surely make a big difference to our world.
