在上海，由于有太多的机动车，每天都会有许多二氧化碳、尾气排放出来，造成了空气的污染，现在上海已经很少有空气质量为优的日子了。
去年的上海世博会中，也用到了许多绿色环保的交通工具，像电动公交车、游园的电动车，都是运用电来运行的，这很环保，虽然世博园里没有种很多的树，但是有了这些新能源汽车的作用，相信世博园的空气也是不错的。在世博会的各种展馆中，也都有各种环保方面的新的举措。在日本馆中，制作了一种只要人踩下去，就会发电的一块踏板，德国馆中，也有一个声控的。大摆球，叫得越响，就摆得越高，台北的城市最佳实践区中就列出了这个城市是如何进行垃圾分类的，那么多的垃圾是怎么分类的……
但是比起这些政府要做的繁杂的工作，重点的还是我们从身边的小事做起，来保护环境。
有时当我们在说城市的污染和严重时，我们也可能会忽略我们自己。一直会在说路上车那么多，很堵，空气污染都是因为车子多而造成的，但其实自己想想，我们也是这些人中的一个，与其说政府、其他人的不好，还不如就从自己行动起来起来，平时出门最好乘坐公共交通，为减少空气污染而献出自己的一份力。有时一张纸只写了一面可能也 这也许对于那么多树来说不算什么，但是只要我们每个人一起来节约，那么每年也会少砍伐一些树，多一些绿色。
让城市中多一些绿色，也不那么难，只要我们多注意一下日常生活中的点点滴滴，就能为城市增添一些绿色，给城市多一些清净。

Presently, a new lifestyle called low carbon life is spreading every corner of our country. The concepts of low carbon are low energy and no waste. It is such a significant project that I cant wait to present my ideas on how to promote it.
On the first place, a no-car day is supposed to set up every week in our school. Because cars not only cause serious air pollution but also waste energy. On no-car day, neither students nor teachers are allowed to drive to school. Meanwhile, just walk, jump, cycle or run. Use our legs and enjoy the fun.
On the second place, we had best not use plastic bags any more. No one can stand the “white pollution”。 So, it is wise to use bags which can be reused again and again.
Finally, one thing that we should keep in mind: every big thing comes from the subtle. Therefore, as students, we ought to turn out the lights the moment we leave, turn off the tap in time, and reuse our textbook and so on.
All in all, it weighs greatly for all of us to put the low carbon lifestyle into practice. Just set our mind to these: no-car day, no plastic bags, and no waste. Lets do it now.
