幸福终点站英文观后感【第一篇】
This is an American love movie launched by Dreamworks. After watching it for too long, many details in the movie have become blurred, but the situation of the protagonist in the movie is still fresh in my mind.
The story takes place in the 1980s, and victor, the protagonist, is an Eastern European. In order to fulfill his father's wish, he took a plane to the United States alone with simple luggage, and all his misadventures happened at the airport where his flight landed -- Kennedy International Airport.
As soon as he got off the plane, he planned to take a taxi out of the airport and go straight to the bar to look for people according to the address information left by his father. But the airport staff stopped him. The customs officer patiently explained to him in English that his passport information was invalid, and the government had not yet issued measures to deal with him, so he could not be released. But he could not understand English and could only explain his purpose to them using a few words he knew. But the customs officer did not understand his mother tongue and shrugged his shoulders. He learned from the airport television news that his country's government had been overthrown in a coup and that the new government had not yet been recognized by the international community. He felt at that moment that all the information that had previously identified him was nullified -- that he was a man without a country.
With no language to communicate, almost no identity information, no money and only simple luggage, food is the biggest problem at the airport where that person is coming and going. By watching other passengers, he discovered that he could get a small amount of coins by taking the scattered luggage cart back to the designated spot, which could hopefully solve his food problem. Using their own hands to transform the airport's abandoned toilet, so that they have a temporary shelter. While using his wisdom and hands to solve the basic problems of life, he actively communicated with the airport staff repeatedly in order to fulfill his father's wish. It was in this not too large closed terminal building that he experienced life in all its forms.
幸福终点站英文观后感【第二篇】
If you are in a foreign country and suddenly hear the smoke of war in your native land, and you have no one to acknowledge your identity, you don't speak the language, you have no money, and you are held at the airport. What should you do?
The great director Steven Spielberg sketched such a background, told such a story, portrayed such a character. Viktor Navorski, a Passenger from Kakonia, arrived at Detroit airport only to be told that there was a coup in Kakonia and that his passport and other forms of identification could no longer be approved for entry. The civil war continues and all flights back home have been grounded. Viktor Navorski became an "unacknowledged man." Unable to return home or set foot in the United States, he had nowhere to go but the terminal, and Airport director Dixon told him to wait. The distraught Victor stayed in the hall. He could not find anyone who could help him because he did not understand English. The few food stamps he had were swept into the trash. Penniless and homeless, he was a desperate man.
Victor begins to look for a place in the terminal. Unused gate 69 became his home, and he washed in the bathroom every day and studied English hard. Soon Victor was copying the others and making money to buy food for the airport carts. But Dixon, the head of the airport, sees him as a problem and antagonizes him everywhere. Dixon arranged for someone to sort out the wheelbarrow, and Victor lost his job. Fortunately, he made friends with the young man who drove the food truck at the airport and the old cleaning man, Gupta, and had food and shelter. Victor encounters a beautiful stewardess, Celia, at the airport and tries to find a job in order to have dinner with her. As it happens, the wall he decorates is discovered by a contractor, and Victor is officially hired -- victor's life is actually on the right track. One day, the airport detained a looking mad Russian man, Dixon could not communicate with him; In desperation he thought of Victor. Victor held Dixon and the man steady. He used what he had learned at the airport to help the man out. Dixon was furious, but Victor became a hero at the Detroit airport. Every store has his handprint on it. He was greeted with a smile by every staff member. Cecilia met him once more. Pressed by Acelia, Victor tells the reason he insists on going to New York: to fulfill his father's last wish, he is going to New York to ask for an autograph from a jazz musician. I won't stop until I get what I want. Ecilia was deeply moved by Victor's sincerity.
On a sunny morning, the civil war in Kakonia was over, and Victor had been trapped in the airport for nine months. While everyone expected him to fulfill his vow, Dixon demanded his immediate return. And to repatriate Indian old man Gupta back to prison as a condition to threaten Victor. For friends Victor only choose to return home. As he waited for his flight, Mr Gupta chose to be arrested in exchange for his friend's dream. Everyone cried. Dixon was no longer in the way. America was open to Victor. New York was open to Victor. He finally fulfilled his promise and could go home in peace.
When America opens up to Victor, ying echoes the line that runs through the film: "Compassion is the most important thing." 。 Airports are like condensed American society, with all kinds of people, languages, nationalities, cultures.。. Victor's simple and honest smiling face and flexible brain, as well as his loyal character with friends moved enthusiastic American friends, especially after he saved the Russian man, but also won the recognition of friends of all races and nationalities. The cold law of rigor melts in the heart of compassion. Victor is actually gaining recognition in American culture. The two cultures blend and collide in a small airport, and the last flash is a sincere heart.
In just 120 minutes of clear storytelling, Spielberg uses a fictional story to illustrate his American values. What moves America, what is the most important character? The film tells us that it is perseverance and compassion.
幸福终点站英文观后感【第三篇】
Tom Hanks starred in the film The Terminal. If you have seen the film Forrest Gump, you must think the actor looks familiar. Yes, Tom Hanks starred in both films.
The story takes place in the United States Kennedy International Airport in the 1980s. A middle-aged man named Viktor Navorski came to The United States alone and took a can with him. It turned out that he had come to New York from Crocia alone to fulfill his promise to his late father.
But when Victor is happy and ready to walk out of the airport, he is told that just now, civil war has broken out in his country, Croatia, and the government has been overthrown. Therefore, he became a stateless person, all the documents, visas, credit cards are useless. Moreover, he cannot leave the terminal and must remain in the terminal, neither returning home nor entering the country. Thus, a series of stories spread out around a helpless man with no language, no money, no food, no friends, no address, no phone, no visa, in a small terminal.
Helpless under victor to the airport lounge idle chair as a bed, wash in the bathroom. He settled in and watched for opportunities to make money to feed himself. He discovered that airport trolleys can be returned in exchange for coins, and that a few coins can get you a small hamburger at a fast-food joint.
Airport manager Frank too Victor in the terminal to stay for a long time is a trouble, do everything to drive him out. When Victor makes money, Frank immediately adds a pushcart pusher, cutting Off Victor's livelihood.
Frank even had his men tell Victor that there was a five-minute gap when the guards were being changed today, and that he only had to go through the glass door to enter New York. A large group of them stood in front of the surveillance screen, trying to watch Victor walk out and be taken away by the police and escorted to another location. As soon as Victor leaves the terminal, Frank's heart will be free. But Victor, a law-abiding man, sees frank's trick when he reaches the glass door and sees the cameras circling him overhead. He stops moving forward and grimaces back at the cameras: I'm not falling for it.
And when the way to make money does not work, a Spanish food delivery man Enrique sees Victor every day to fill out the visa, always rejected, but can access his love of customs officer Dolores. So Enrique offers Victor food in exchange for helping him send a message of love. Victor again and again with their own convenience for Enrique matchmaker, finally obtained the heart of Dolores, the achievement of a marriage, Victor not only his daily three meals have landed. Also made the airport ushered in a festive warm wedding.

Gradually, he becomes good friends with several of the airport's attendants, including Gupta, an old cleaner who has long suspected him of being a spy.

During the nine months of waiting at the airport, peace was restored to Victor's homeland. He protected others with kindness, resisted authority with courage, and harvested friendship with honesty. Which, when victor about the future of friends willing to give up their promise, ready to take the plane back to the crow, old dustman gupta, picked up the mop Tang Jike DE way towards the plane and block officials will not achieve commitment victor sent back, that moment, white-haired old man, like a brave fighter. All the airport employees take out gifts from their stores to see him off. The airport police, who are responsible for intercepting Victor, line up, but at the last moment, the leading officer takes off his coat, puts it around Victor's shoulders, and says, "It's cold outside. You could use it."
Victor made good on his promise to his father and got the last of the 57 jazz band autographs his father had craved. He returned to his native country.
The small airport shows all kinds of life, and every character in the film is waiting: Victor waits for his country to subside the war at the airport; The heroine, Amelie, is a beautiful stewardess who, from the age of 18, waits for the commitment of a married man; Gupta, an old cleaner, fled to America because he could not bear to be blackmailed by the police in his native India and committed a crime, where he worked as an airport cleaner for 23 years, awaiting justice; Open dining car Enrique, waiting for his secret love of the black girl, hope to be able to touch love; Even Airport administrator Frank, who has been trying to get rid of Victor, is waiting for his boss to retire and take over the airport.
The film is based on real people and events, Victor as an ordinary nobody but optimistic in the desperate. Be positive and open-minded about life. As one of the film's survivors of the hardships of the Nazi concentration camp says, "In any given environment, there is one last freedom for people, which is to choose their own attitude."
当幸福来敲门观后感英文【第四篇】
Review of the Pursuit of Happyness
The university has organized us to watch the movie the Pursuit of Happyness. The movie draws its materials from life. It portrays a man, Chris Gardner, who is walking bankruptcy, how to raise his son as a single parent and struggle to be a stock trader.
There is something in the world. It has no shape, no color, and no weight. It can’t be seen or touched, but everyone wants it. That’s happiness.
The spell of happyness in the title is wrong, which echoes a scene at the beginning of the movie. Chris noticed the word and told his son “There is an i in happiness. There is no y. It’s an i. ” It means that we should pursue happiness ourselves instead of asking why.
Chris Gardner hardly worked from everyday morning to night, but still couldn’t make a change. At last, his wife couldn’t endure and left away, just leaving him and their five-year-old son. What’s more, he had no money to pay for the rent. They became homeless and slept in anywhere.
One sentence I always hear in this movie is “Everything will be
fine”, and Linda often said “Whatever” to express her no-choice situation. Sometimes we may get trapped in daily life, but why would you give in to it? Why could you give up? We ought to fight against all the obstacles in our ways to success!
To Chris, everything is life was hard. However, he didn’t accept defect easily. He gave up the job to sell a kind of medicinal machine and tried as much as he could to become a broker, which was his new dream.
Even worse, he was arrested for unpaid traffic tickers before the day of interviewing. He had to attend the interview with dirty clothes.
Fortunately, he convinced a financial manager that he was intelligent by playing with a Rubik’s Cube. This manager offered him an opportunity to be a probationary clerk. There were twenty people attending the practice and only one could be hired. Moreover, there is no salary during the six months practice. Finally, he won in the exam to be the only formal clerk in twenty people. His tears nearly ran out when he heard the good news. Happiness came a little late for him, but better late than never.
Chris is a man with purpose. He encouraged his son “Don’t ever let someone tell you that you can’t do something”。 It also said to himself. I also admire Christopher. Although he and his father usually had a hard time and even had no place to stay, he was determined to trust his father and never complain.
I remember that in order to catch up with the scanners, Chris was knocked down by a car. He looked for his shoe groveling on the road without checking himself being hurt or not. Is shoe so important for him? Sure, as for a man whose account was only 21 dollars, it can be easily understood such crazy behavior made by him.
The scene gives me the deepest impression is the homeless father and son lingered on the bench in the subway station and looked at each other in silence. Chris came up with an idea to relief Christopher’s
depression. He imagined that they were surrounded by terrible monsters and needed to find a cave to hide themselves. Of course, there is
definitely no cave in the subway stations. Chris and his son curled up on the floor covered with bumf in the toilet. In order not to be disturbed, he shut the door and fastened the bolt from the inside. When hearing the knock at the door, Chris only could put his feet against the door and bury Christopher’s ears. At that moment, tears poured down his cheeks.
Finally, Chris got the job with an annual salary of million dollars. They walked to their home and smiled to everyone.
This movie touches the chord in my heart. It wasn’t easy to scratch out a living in those hard times. Sometimes, you may get stuck. You meet difficulties and you feel sad, but you have to take heart and spare no efforts to solve problems. It will be a hard process, but perhaps after all your tries, you’ll find a way out. Just like sometimes you turn the Rubik’s Cube and discover the mass becomes all in order.
We should pursue happiness on our own. When we face difficulties, we’d better think about Chris’s situation, and I’m sure that nothing will hurt you anymore. After keeping trying and going through hard life, you’ll find happiness is just around the corner.
At the end of this movie, Chris Gardner himself brushed past the actor Will Smith. Christopher uttered “Knock, knock, knock”, which was the sound of happiness.
Let’s take the letter i instead of the letter y in happiness.
You got a dream, you gotta protect it. If you want something, go get it.
