大学生考证热英语作文【第一篇】

Social Networking’s Influence on College Students

Social networking has gained huge worldwide popularity in recent years, especially among college students. In China, college student is the main force of social networking, % of which are fond of instant messaging and % prefer social networking sites like micro-blog and Q-zone (China Internet Network Information Center, 2013). Moreover, Michigan State University Original Study also finds that compared with Chinese students, American students are more tied to social media (2013). Therefore, nowadays there is a heated debate about advantages and disadvantages about social networking’s influence on college students.

Obviously, there are a number of positive features on social networking. It provides a convenient access to consolidate the relationship with people they know, make friends with strangers without restrictions of space and share happiness and sorrow. What’s more, social networking also has educational functions including reducing college drop-out rates, motivating students to work as a team, sending information about assignments, reminding students about deadline and stimulating students to help each other. (BBC News, 2009). There is no doubt that social networking plays a significant role in eiching students’ college lives.

However, every coin has two sides. There are also many disadvantages on the influence of social networking, among which, “soft addiction” is the most serious problem, distracting students from study. Because of lack of self-restriction, many students would waste plenty of time to search the social networking sites unconsciously, followed by a strong tendency to blame themselves (Li, 2013). This kind of “soft addiction” and distraction was also confirmed by Zhang (2011) who conducted a survey by questionare of 500 Chinese college students from different schools and found that 33% students could not bear one-week life without social networking and 77% students could not help themselves accessing social networking site during classes. Furthermore, a social experiment was performed by Harrisburg University (Pilkington, 2010) to figure out the effect after initiating 'blackout' of all social networking sites. It turned out that some students became more concentrated on

the tutor and making notes instead of having instant messaging running in classes.

As far as I’m concerned, the disadvantages far outweigh the advantages, especially in China, where social networking is used for communication and entertainment and seldom plays the educational role (Li, 2011). The priority of a college student is to study hard instead of being addicted to social networking. Therefore, it is imperative for them to realize their “soft addiction” to social networking and correct their behavior.

大学生考证热英语作文【第二篇】

spring is no longer that shy girl in my memory, who came very late, hesitated in the distance, overwhelmed by shyness until i waved to her. then she would scurry happily nearer, stop feet away, waiting to be hugged. but here and now, she, at the sight of me, grabs my hands and pulls me into her arms before i know what's happening.

so here i am, a boy accustomed to the drab and dry and dreary spring of the north, devouring the sweetness of a south

it rained days ago and everything glistens with grow with new leaves of lively light green, not the dull and dusty color of winter. several cherries are in full blossom now, with flowers clustering and squeezing and squabbling on the twigs. what attract me most are the meadows, the greenish yellow meadows.

sprawling on the meadows with grasses kissing my face, i can hear the rustling of leaves in the brisk breeze, the whispering and chuckling and bickering of birds, and the trotting, shuffling, tramping of people passing by.

i can smell the refreshing fragrance that pervades the air, fragrance of flowering magnolias and growing grasses and moist soil. i inhale the fresh air as deeply as i can and the aroma in vades my whole being.

also, i can see the fallen leaves of platanes wafting around like butterflies flying from one flower to another. once so high above on the treetops enduring the trials of bitter cold and blustering gale, they are so easily torn loose by a warm ?

i cannot help thinking of our situation. we chinese defy any powerful enemy, but how come we have been so easily attacked by sars?

It is four years since I came into my college. I have to say that my college life was so wonderful, although in some aspects I failed.

I love the campus, in which the lanscape was so beautiful and the study atomasphere was so good, we always studyed there along with relaxation. I majored in Marketing, it was a good speciality for its feature of operating and exercise. I knowed if I wanted to do something and become some one, I have to take my theory knowledge into every practice and summerize in time.

So I joined in some parties inner the campus to excercise myself much, in fact we had to do more practice to apply our knowledge to the work which was similar to that in our future.

Some people said that four- year study could not bring us much, but could bring us a mind for thinking and operating. I agreed it. We could not get everything in our college, what possible was that we were albe to learn how to think about an issue, how to find a way for it, the next step needs us to go by ourselves.

That's Ok, even we can only get this, it is enough for us. So prcticing more with a good mind will make my future possible.

All across the country a great diversity of custom-made classes are mushrooming, in which special training is provided concerning computer skills, arts, sports, and other extracurricular specialties like maths and writing. Among them language crash courses for various tests, such as CET, BEC, TOFEL, IELTS, GRE and so forth, are especially noticeable for its wide range and high attendance rate.

Some consider it advisable to attend such classes while others believe it unnecessary. The former argues that it’s far more effective to command these special skills with the help of an experienced trainer than to work at them on their own. They are convinced that these training classes can make up for what is not taught in school, hence, more competitive edge over their peers. The latter group of people, nonetheless, criticize it as a sheer waste of resources. They warn that the quality of most training courses is questionable, as they are marketed to get money out of our pocket rather than get knowledge into our head.

As far as I am concerned, a little bit of such special training does us no harm, but too much of it can only prove to be counter-productive. Anyhow, the deprived free time can be better invested in recreation at weekends, talking to an old friend, or simply enjoying a long-overdue vacation.

We experience many different things in everyday life. We gain something valuable from them , and then we know how to get succeed.

When we make a mistake, we have to figure out how to fix it. Experience is the best teacher because it helps us aware of our mistake so that we can learn how to avoid it in the future.

I firmly stand behind the belief that “experience is the best teacher ”。All aspects of life can be taught, but to fully understand a situation that I feel you need to experienced it. Examples where experience is the best teacher are: sky diving, playing a musical instrument, driving a car and even becoming a parent. While someone can teach you how to do these things, you still need to learn from the first hand experience to understand the concept.

Many times as teachers would know, when you teach a pupil something and he nods his head ,and says, “Yes ,I know”。 And ask him the next day , there is a high chance that he has forgotten. If he is learnt by an experiment or by experience, he is likely to remember for a very long time, even adulthood.

The experience tells me: when work is a pleasure, life is a joy! When work is duty, life is slavery. If you don't try, how do you know which T-shirt is much more suitable for you? If you don't try, how do you know whether what ones said id right? So only experience can tell you answer.

From elementary school to now , we have learnt so much knowledge, but actually we can just make a little of them into practice. Perhaps we know something about one thing , but we don't know how to do it, or how to do it well. Experience without learning is better than learning without experience

Finally, I want to repeat my point again, there is nothing better than experience , experience is the best teacher.
