The woman in the picture is taking a drug her eyes fixed on the drug as if all her life depended on it. She is so thin that she looks like a skeleton. It is the drugs that have got her into such a terrible picture shows us that the abuse of illegal drugs has becoming more and more serious in our country.

Drug abuse is dangerously harmful to both the user and the society. Illegal drugs are destructive to the user’s physical and mental health and the victims once addicted to them will hardly be able to abstain from them. In most cases addicts are heavily in debt and are driven to commit monstrous crimes which greatly disturb the stability of the society. Indeed many families are ruined by drugs. To make matters worse drugs will destroy a nation by depriving it of its vitality and spirit.

The serious problem of drug abuse deserves great attention of the whole society. Strict measures have been taken to prohibit the production trafficking and sale of drugs. But in my opinion anti-drug campaigns should be constantly launched to make every citizen well aware of the danger of taking drugs. Most importantly education should be carried out among young people to warn them to stay away from drugs. I am sure that with the joint efforts of the government and the society the problem of drug abuse will be certainly brought under control. 毒品，是七宗罪——诱惑、偷盗、抢劫、杀人、疯狂、自弃、人性丧失的罪魁祸首！

一旦深陷毒品深渊，必定害你丢了梦想、家庭、甚至是宝贵的生命，最终沦为社会的千古罪人！

因为吸毒，我们的中国被外国列强称为“东亚病夫”；因为吸毒，倾家荡产者不在少数；因为吸毒，颓废者无所不在；因为吸毒，20__年就死掉了3975万人，其中青少年占75%……。

在生活中，有的青少年为了毒品资源，甚至不惜欺骗父母，杀死父母的触目惊心的事件也偶见报端！仅仅是为了那笔毒品开支，就身陷囹圄，生命失去了光彩。在这里，我想问一句：你们的心到底是被什么迷惑了？生命就这么的卑微、这么的廉价吗？少年们杀人、抢劫等等犯罪行为这到底是谁之过？是因为外国带来的“诱惑”吗？抑或是因为少年自己的自制力不强吗？无从知道了，但谁也不能否认毒品是世界第一公害的这个不争的事实！

可这并不是重点，重点是人们就这么的死了，不觉得可惜吗？鲜活的生命之花就这样凋零了，不令人感叹吗？生命曾可贵，我们每一个人，尤其是青少年更没有资格去轻视！所以，我们要“珍爱生命，拒绝毒品”！

想当初，为了满足虚荣心，或是为了放纵那颗空洞的心，更或是被那群狐朋狗友陷害的曾经纯洁的心……，当我们醒悟时，却身在禁毒所，身在牢笼，还有可能流浪街头无家可归！我们一次次的在吸与戒之间徘徊，一次次的身陷地域而无法自拔，一次次的内心挣扎而都做了无用功又开始了重蹈覆辙……，如此黑暗的炼狱，难道还不能惊醒世人吗？

所以，涉世未深的青少年们啊，请你们自重自爱，认识毒品、了解毒品，珍惜黄金岁月和花样年华，请从现在开始远离毒品，做一个积极健康、永远向上的阳光青少年！
