今天，是端午节。我的姥姥和姥爷来我家做客。姥姥跟我说：他们那家家户户都挂艾叶菖蒲，吃粽子，上山采青，食粽球，制粽。一大清早，我就跟着姥姥包了起来，首先拿出两片一大一小的粽叶，学着姥姥的样子折出一角，再在折好的角筒上放入一点已浸泡好的糯米，塞上一些红豆沙，又用糯米盖得严严实实的。我开始有点沾沾自喜了，心想：简单的包粽子根本难不住我。可是当我再把粽叶盖好时，糯米就像一个顽皮的孩子似的不听我的使唤，接二连三地都跳了出来。我急得像热锅上的蚂蚁团团转，幸好姥姥替我解了围把一些糯米弄掉一点，我才舒了一口气，心里的一块沉重的大石头放了下来。我经过了一些小挫折，总算到了最后的一个步骤扎棕绳。粽子要包扎严实才好吃，所以我接过棕绳，把粽子捆了一圈又一圈，这才交给姥姥。这时我才明白包粽子是门手艺活儿，包起来非常不容易。

这次的端午节可真有意思，不但我会包粽子了，还知道如果遇到了挫折，还要爬起来从新尝试！

Duanwu Festival is a traditional Chinese festival held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar. It is also known as the Double Fifth.[citation(引用；引证) needed] It has since been celebrated, in various ways, in other parts of East Asia as well. In the West, it's commonly known as Dragon Boat Festival.

The exact origins of Duan Wu are unclear, but one traditional view holds that the festival memorializes the Chinese poet Qu Yuan (c. 340 BC-278 BC) of the Warring States Period. He committed suicide by drowning himself in a river because he was disgusted by the corruption of the Chu government. The local people, knowing him to be a good man, decided to throw food into the river to feed the fish so they would not eat Qu's body. They also sat on long, narrow paddle boats called dragon boats, and tried to scare the fish away by the thundering sound of drums aboard the boat and the fierce looking carved dragon head on the boat's prow.

In the early years of the Chinese Republic, Duan Wu was also celebrated as "Poets' Day," due to Qu Yuan's status as China's first poet of personal renown.

Today, people eat bamboo-wrapped steamed glutinous rice dumplings called zongzi (the food originally intended to feed the fish) and race dragon boats in memory of Qu's dramatic death.

Early in the morning, I ate some zongzi and tea eggs, really delicious! It's raining outside, so I have to stay at home. "Bang bang bang!" Someone is knocking at the door. I quickly opened the door. Oh, it was my grandfather. I am so happy that I have someone to play with me!

I found Gobang and military flag, and killed my grandfather. I didn't expect that my grandfather's chess skills are really good. I can't even admit defeat. Just after playing chess, we had dinner. Seeing that the table is full of dishes I like to eat, my mouth water is about to flow out.

时间过的真快，一年一度的五月初五端午节伴着炎热的夏季而来。

端午节是我国重要的传统节日，是为了纪念爱国诗人屈原，所以每逢到这一天，家家户户都要吃棕子，喝雄黄酒，洗艾叶澡，小朋友们都要带上漂亮的五彩绳和香囊，寓意着祈福纳吉，平平安安。许多地方还会举行赛龙舟，处处洋溢着浓浓的节日气氛，甚是热闹。

每年端午节前夕，奶奶总是早早就忙活起来，买粽叶，洗粽叶，包粽子。说起粽子，它不仅好吃，最主要的是在包粽子的过程中，体现着乐趣。而粽子的制作过程也很复杂。端午节前一天晚上，奶奶就会泡上一盆糯米，第二天早上便开始包粽子。绿绿的粽叶里加上喜欢吃的馅料，而粽子的馅料也是多种多样：红枣馅，肉馅，板栗馅等等。而我最喜欢吃的还是红枣馅的粽子。绿绿的粽叶里加上糯米和大枣，包成三棱形的粽子，包好后放在锅里慢慢煮熟，而我总会迫不及待的想要品尝一番。细细地拨开粽叶，咬上口白嫩的糯米，紫红的大枣就露出头来，蘸上白糖或者蜂蜜，软糯香甜，回味悠长。

端午节一家人欢聚一堂，吃的是粽子，回味的却是浓浓的亲情。每每这时，总会让我想起那首儿歌：“粽子香，香厨房。艾叶香，香满堂。桃枝插在大门上，出门一望麦儿黄。这儿端阳，那儿端阳，处处都端阳。”
